B4UW Support Crew
Volunteer to help Bike for United Way
We are proud that Bike for United Way has always been self-supported and organized by cyclists. The logistics for the rides each year involve a lot of additional hours by riders, family and friends.
We are looking for volunteers to join the B4UW Support Crew, to help with the many tasks to make each ride the best experience for the riders. Tasks may involve:
- connecting to local community partners and United Way charities,
- assisting with related fundraising events,
- managing/contributing to social media,
- help with route navigation,
- driving or providing support vehicles,
- bicycle mechanic (e.g. repair and tune-ups), and
- providing and or preparing snack breaks, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Bike for United Way could not happen without the volunteer efforts of riders, their family and supporters.
We request any volunteers be available for a minimum of a half day, ideally an entire ride.

- Work Office Location, Ministry or Agency (if part of OPS)
- Requested duties (fund raising, media & communications, driving experience, food preparation, bike mechanics, etc.)
- Time available (days, hours, during the ride, or before the ride)
- Related skills or experience
- What are your motivations for becoming a B4UW Support Crew (ie. Previous rider, spouse/friend/family of rider, interested in helping United Way, etc.
