What’s your day job?
MPBSDP, ServiceOntario Customer Services, General Inquiries/ Feedback webmail.

Years doing the B4UW? I rode the first 4 tours, took a few years off, I’m only back for the big ride.
What’s your past biking experience?
Riding since childhood, mountain biking, mild urban stunt riding, was a year-round commuter for nearly a decade, T2T in 2012 was my first tour.

What’s your inspiration for this ride?
Wanting to do the big ride again, trying to be an inspiration to my kids, show them that cancer isn’t always the end of things.

How are you preparing for B4UW?
Training to rebuild my own health and endurance, trying to find marginal gains in performance, equipment, etc.

What do you think will be your greatest challenge on the ride?
This time I’ll be trying to force myself to stop, and really spend the time to see and enjoy the world I’m riding through.

What do you like to do other than riding your bike?
I probably spend more time fixing other people’s bikes more than riding my own.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I am an engineeronerd, and I modify everything I can lay my hands on!
